Raul Reyes, GOP candidate for Texas Senate District 24 has signed The Texas Conservative Pledge.
“Colonel Reyes is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel is a proven Patriot whose demonstrated his entire life that he will stand by Christian, conservative Texas values. Colonel Reyes would be a major asset in the fight to protect our liberties and sovereignty in Austin,” stated David Roberts, Director of Texans for True Conservatives.
Asked why he signed The Texas Conservative Pledge, Reyes said, “’I’m for ‘America first, Texas always’ principles and values rooted in our U.S. and Texas Constitution. It’s my life’s endeavor to defend our liberty with vigor, strength and honor. And it is with the same pleasure that I sign this pledge.”
Reyes was a highly-decorated veteran, earning 6 Meritorious Service Medals, 2 Joint Service Commendation Medals, an Air Force Achievement Medal and 2 Air Force Achievement Medals, among other service rankings and awards. During his time in the Air Force he serviced as a Cyberspace Officer and Foreign Area Officer overseas, with valuable experience in communications, leadership, technology and project management.
Texas Senate District 24 encompasses all or part of 14 counties in the Texas Hill Country from Bandera to Comanche counties. Besides his experience as an Air Force Colonel, Reyes has operated an independent home building and construction company since 2000. Reyes also volunteers as an adjunct professor at several junior colleges.

The Texans for True Conservatives PAC (a Super Pac) was formed to support “real” Texas Constitutional Conservatives who are dedicated to honoring their pledge to true conservative values at the local, state, and federal levels.
