Conroe, Texas USA – Texas Republican Congressional District 8 Candidate Jonathan Hullihan has signed the Texas Conservative Pledge put forward by the Texans for True Conservatives PAC.
Hullihan, a Montgomery County native is a Navy veteran and local attorney. Hullihan was a Navy JAG (Judge Advocate General) serving as legal counsel for the Navy SEAL teams, the Blue Angels, and U.S. Central Command for 13 years. Hullihan’s military decorations include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Four Awards), Navy Achievement Medal (Two Awards), Army Achievement Medal, Iraq and Afghanistan campaign medals, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (Two Awards), the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, various unit awards, and numerous command recognitions.
Hullihan is currently representing clients fighting Covid vaccination mandates by employers in court.
In regards to signing The Pledge – Hullihan stated, “We are living in a time where ‘We the People…’ are having our voices drowned out by DC insiders and special interest groups. I signed the Texas Conservatives Pledge because it is my deepest wish to give power back to the people. I welcome being held accountable by the constituency of TX-CD8 and giving the people their voice in Congress with true conservative representation. When I get to DC, I will not owe political favors to powerbrokers and kingmakers and will only be accountable to our citizens as our founding fathers envisioned. I am focused and unafraid to defend our God-given liberty and Constitutional rights that are under assault every day.”

Hullihan has committed to join the House Freedom Caucus if elected.
