Conroe, Texas USA – Texas Republican Congressional District 8 Candidate Christian Collins has signed the Texas Conservative Pledge put forward by the Texans for True Conservatives PAC.
Collins, a longtime Montgomery County Republican activist involved with youth ministries, law enforcement, the Chamber of Commerce, and faith leaders has officially launched his campaign for the House seat being vacated by Congressman Kevin Brady.
Collins is the former campaign manager and longtime advisor to Congressman Kevin Brady. He has also been active in the election campaigns of Greg Abbott, Dan Crenshaw, and Ted Cruz. In 2019 Collins launched the Texas Youth Summit with the primary goal of teaching conservative principles to Gen-Z and Millennials. The Texas Youth Summit has grown to include major conservative influencers as speakers such as Donald Trump, Jr., Candace Owens, and Charlie Kirk. In 2021 his Texas Youth Summit over 1,200 youth.
Collins is also an author, (Second Wind: A 365 Day Devotional) and is an adjunct professor at Lone Star College teaching students public speaking.
Collins has committed to join the House Freedom Caucus if elected
Regarding signing The Pledge, Collins stated, “I’m grateful for Texans For True Conservatives PAC because they are helping push a Conservative agenda throughout Texas and the nation. I believe it’s important to sign this pledge because it shows my commitment to legislating in a Conservative manner.”
