Conroe, Texas USA – Republican Texas Representative Kyle Biedermann from Texas House District 73 has signed the Texas Conservative Pledge put forward by the Texans for True Conservatives.
The Texas state legislature version of the Texas Conservative Pledge contains twenty-seven core conservative value in which candidates or elected officeholders commit to defending, sponsoring or co-sponsoring specific legislation in the next legislative session. Key issues in the pledge address fundamental Texas conservative values that include ending property and franchise taxes, term limits, religious freedom, historical monument protection, healthcare, and voter ID, among others.
“State Representative Biedermann is a proven conservative leader in the Texas Legislature and represents Texan’s values. We are proud to add his commitment to the growing number of state and federal elected officeholders committed to this important pledge. We look forward to Representative Biedermann’s continued leadership in preserving Texas conservative values,” commented Texas CPAC founder David Thomas Roberts.
Regarding his commitment to the Pledge, Representative Bidermann stated, “For too long Republicans have been elected on conservative principles and not fought for them when they get to Austin. This pledge will keep them accountable to the people who elect them”.
The Texans for True Conservatives have constructed conservative pledges for federal, state, and local elected office candidates and incumbents. The website at www.TexasCPAC.org will announce new signatures on the pledges as they occur. The pledges were distributed to all federal and state officeholders and candidates for the November elections and in advance of the next Texas legislative session.
