September 1, 2020 (Conroe, Texas USA) – Texans for True Conservatives PAC (TFTC) announced today that candidate for United States Congressional District 16 (El Paso), Irene Armendariz-Jackson has signed the Texas Conservative Pledge.
“The pledge was a no-brainer for me. These are the same Texas conservative values I was raised on and live every day,” said Armendariz-Jackson.
“The Texas Conservative Pledge was developed to hold candidates and elected representatives to their promise to vote conservative Texas values. Candidate Irene Armendariz-Jackson is dedicated to Texas conservative principles, and she proved it by signing the pledge. We couldn’t be prouder of this great candidate,” stated TFTC founder David Thomas Roberts.
The TFTC federal pledge has twenty-six categories to which a candidate or office holder has to adhere, ranging from pledges of not raising taxes, to Pro-Life, 2nd Amendment, and campaign finance restrictions. TFTC does not allow a candidate to leave any of the pledge tenets off the pledge.
“We will now get to work to help Irene unseat a Democratic incumbent in a traditionally blue seat,” added Roberts. “President Trump will need every seat he can win in Congress.”
